Antonius and Hieronymus Amati Violin, 1699 (Copy)
This violin is a Saxon made copy of those made by the Amati brothers Antonius and Hieronymus. The label reads: "Antonius and Hieronymus Fr. Amati, Cremonen. Andreae F. 1699." The instrument is in very good restored condition and the tone is sweet and clear, a good violin for ensemble work. The instrument was sold to a woman in the midwest in 2017. |
