Thurmond Knight Violin 2005

Modeled after Guarneri del Gesu', this violin was commissioned by Dr. Sally Schlueter in 2005.  Sally is the sole owner, and would like me to find the instrument a good home as she is no longer able to play  due to a hand injury.  The violin is a solo instrument with a very large all encompassing sound filled with a multitude of colors and excellent projection.  The lower end is a wonderful warm viola like sound, and the top end is large and golden in character.  The violin is in mint condition and presently set up with Obligato strings.  Price: $12,000.
