Emma Violin
Emma Violin was named in memory of my maternal grandmother, Emma Frances Alley Simmons, 1880-1953. The violin was modeled after Fritz Kreisler's 1733 Guarneri del Gesu'. The spruce top and maple back were cut in Canada in 1914. This instrument has an incredible soloistic sound with excellent projection, depth and warmth. Emma belongs to Dave Poplawaki of Westmore, Vermont. |
