German "Stradivarius" Violin Model

This violin is a German made copy of Stradivarius.  It was restored by Thurmond Knight in 2020.  The varnish is amber with golden undertones.  The two piece spruce top is of medium straight grain.  The two piece maple back is highly flamed.  The maple back and ribs have the same amount of flame; the neck has tighter flames.  The tone is very large with excellent projection, with a brilliant upper end.  Response time is fast and the instrument is very easy to play with a comfortable setup.  Sale price: $875.
