Johann Udam Frestchmann Violin 1790
This instrument was modeled after Stradivarius, labeled: "Johan Udam Frestchmann, Violin Maker in Neukirchen, 1790." The varnish is red/brown with golden highlights peeking through. The two piece top is of medium straight grained spruce, and the back is of two piece highly flamed maple, with matching ribs and neck block. The violin is in mint condition. It has a soaring solo voice with very good projection.
