This European made violin is modeled after Stradivarius, made around 1950.  It was completely restored by Marc Gregoire, a former student of mine, in 2003.  The sound is open and clear, with good response and projection.  The top is of two pieces of clear medium grain spruce.  The back and ribs are of highly flamed maple, the back in two pieces.  The instrument is in excellent condition.  The violin was purchased by a woman living in Seattle in June, 2007.
