Suzuki Violin 1966

This violin was made in 1966 by the Suzuki Violin Company in Nagoya, Japan.  The instrument is modeled after the violins made by Stradivari, with beautiful craftsmanship.  It is in perfect condition, with warm orange-brown varnish and gold highlights.  The two-piece top is of medium even grained spruce.  The two-piece back is of highly flamed maple.  The neck maple is similar to the back, and the ribs are made with a very tight, almost quilted flamed maple.  The tone is full and warm with excellent projection and very quick response.  This would be a very good instrument for an intermediate or advanced student.  Sale price: $595.
