This violin is modeled after Stradivarius and was made in Markneukirchen, Saxony, Germany circa 1955. The instrument is in very good condition. The label found inside the bass side F hole reads: “Antonius Stradivarius Cremonensis Faciebat Anno 1700. The spruce top is of uneven grain with widening at the periphery. The maple back is of two pieces and well flamed with fairly tight curl running horizontally across the back. The back of the scroll has embossed :Conservatory Violin.
