This instrument is modeled somewhat after the luthier Carlo Ferdinando Landolfi. It is in very good condition with no visible damage. The setup is with all ebony with the exception of the Wittner composite tailpiece with built-in fine tuners. Strings are Tonica with a Pirastro Gold Label E string. Spruce top is of fine even grain with widening at the periphery. The two piece curly maple back has moderate even flames running horizontally across the back. Tone is soloistic and will easily hold its own in an orchestra.
