This instrument is an excellent copy of Nicolo Amati, with double purfling and remarkable craftsmanship. A button graft has been done as well as a repair to the visible sound post crack of the top. The violin is of solo quality, with brilliant upper range and a very deep lower voice. It has a large range of projection with a completely open tone.
