This violin was made by the Cedar Music Company in 2023 and is modeled after Stradivarius. The instrument is in perfect condition. The tone is clear and singing–the violin would do well in orchestra as well as ensemble playing. Boxwood has been used for the pegs, tailpiece and chinrest. The spruce grain widens out at the periphery. The back is of one piece of tightly curled maple. Varnish is red-brown and has the desirable orange skin dimpling. It is outfitted with Dominant strings.
